Paveway Paving Pros is an asphalt paving contractor based in Lebanon, Tennessee, about 30 miles east of Nashville. Most of our work is driveways and farm lanes for homeowners and farm owners. We also pave small parking lots for churches, small stores, offices and farm buildings.
Paveway is owned by Chris Berry. We lay hot mix asphalt with our own dump trucks, pavers, rollers and skid steers. Longer driveways and bigger lanes sit on the edges of town, where we do a lot of our paving. Farm lane and private road paving is a big part of that work.
Every new asphalt driveway starts with the ground under it. We strip out the grass and grade the drive so water runs off. Then we pack the stone base with a roller. The hot mix goes down last, from the top of the drive out to the road.
We normally seal the driveways and lots we pave, and we take on sealcoating for older asphalt too. We work about 60 miles around Lebanon across Middle Tennessee. Call or text (615) 894-5175 for a free estimate. We look at the job and put the estimate in writing.
Serving Lebanon and Middle Tennessee We run string lines around the outside of the drive and spray paint clean lines. The grading and the paving follow those lines.
We brush or squeegee the sealer into the surface. Asphalt has pores, and filling them helps keep water out.
Some driveways take one load of asphalt. Some farm lanes run a half mile or a mile, and we pave those too.
Federal soil maps show clay over limestone under much of Lebanon, and water moves slowly through that clay. We grade for drainage and pack a crushed stone base before any hot mix goes down.
Asphalt has pores, and water gets into the pavement through them. We brush or squeegee the sealer into the surface so it fills those pores.

New paving starts with string lines and grading. Then a roller packs the stone base. On older asphalt, we repair the broken spots first.
Hot mix goes down from the top of the drive out to the road, and the rollers press it smooth. Once new asphalt cures, we normally seal it.
